Prism Vision

Sport eyewear advertising screams — EDM soundtracks, athletes mid-sprint, aggressive graphics. The Oakley Jawbreaker Prizm is built for extreme performance, but we wanted to sell it through visual sophistication. Optics, not athletics.

Sophistication, not aggression
The Oakley Prizm lens coating is engineered to enhance color and contrast — it literally changes how you see the world. That's an inherently visual story, and it doesn't need screaming athletes to tell it.
We stripped the Jawbreaker down to its optical essence. A beam of white light hits the Prizm coating and splits into a spectrum. The wraparound shield design creates dramatic silhouettes in rim light. The iridescent surface shifts from gold to purple to green depending on the viewing angle — a natural source of cinematic light effects.
The prismatic lens
The wraparound shield design creates a single unbroken optical surface — perfect for refraction compositions. We shot white light entering one side and a spectrum exiting the other. Neon edge traces outline the aggressive silhouette. Chromatic aberration becomes a feature, not a flaw.
With 5 selected shots from the full pipeline, this is our most focused project — every image earns its place. The iridescent oil-slick reflections on the lens surface gave us color palettes no other product could: shifting, liquid, alive.
We made the Prizm lens the hero. Holographic prism splits, neon edge traces, laser beams refracting through the coating. The iridescent color-shifting surface became a natural source of cinematic light. The film is pure optics — and it's beautiful.
